Frequently Asked Questions

This is a great question that I really appreciate being asked! Here are some things you can do to prepare your horse for a visit from me:

• Have them inside, dried off if they are wet or they are super sweaty. 
• If your horse isn't comfortable in the barn - make sure that there is an area outside where I could tie them if needed.
• Give them some hay or their feed (if it's around feeding time) so they aren't acting like they've never been fed and are STARVINGGGG!!
• This might sound weird, but you should do some mindfulness exercises. Take some deep breaths, pause for a moment and just be with your horse. They feel your nervous energy and get more tense/anxious too!
• In general, just make sure the horse is ready for me to have my hands on. 

There are many benefits to each of the services Sonder Equine provides! The goal is to help horses relax, calm, and be more comfortable. Sonder Equine doesn't post our prices as it varies based on the horse's needs! Each care plan is INDIVIDUAL - as are the prices! We have our standard pricing system, but travel and time change it! There are also referral bonuses, multi-horse discounts, and more that can lower the cost. If you want a free no-commitment quote, please send Haylee an email!

YES! Sonder Equine does offer discounts for owners/barns with multiple horses booked for sessions in the same day. Sonder Equine also offers a veteran discount for anyone who has served. 

Other offers may come up - stay tuned for codes and deals! 

If you have to cancel, Sonder Equine requires a 30% cancelation fee if an appointment is canceled without giving at least 48hrs written notice.

If there is an emergency that comes up - this will be dealt with at a situational basis and Haylee will discuss with that client how to move forward.

Let's talk about this! 

Contradictions are the things that mean a session wouldn't help or may make the issue worse. The service Sonder Equine offers that has the most amount of contradictions is the Kin-Taping. If there is swelling, there is an inflammation reduction taping - however if the inflammation is caused by an infection, the taping will aid the spread of the infection (which obviously we do not want!). If this happens, the horse may benefit from reiki or cold laser therapy instead!

She is happy to answer any questions you have and to help find a therapy that would work if the one you were hoping for isn't compatible with the horse's current state/needs.

Haylee will travel 3hrs one-way to get to a barn IF there are more than 5 horses who are booked. Please contact Haylee for a quote and she will discuss your location with you then!

If over 3hrs away from Cambridge, Haylee may still be able to come out - the travel fee will be significantly higher in order for Haylee to book a hotel!
